Define
Before we write a line of code or sketch out a single design, we work with you to understand what you want to build and who it is you’re building for. Coming from building our own startups, we know that it’s not just about coding something up, but it’s about deeply understanding the business and customer needs. We convert your ideas into clearly defined goals and requirements that are required for your product’s success. From there we fill in the details and make your vision a reality.
- User scenarios
- Feature definition
- Wireframing
- Sketching
- Framing the structure
- Interaction design
- HTML mockups
- Prototyping
Design
Once we’ve got a good grasp of what you want to achieve, we put this information to work by creating core user scenarios. At every stage in our process, we use these scenarios to keep the customer in mind when designing and building your product or website. We believe that a successful website, product, or online service is designed and built with a people and customer-centric approach.
Throughout the duration of your project we use multiple different methods to help arrive at your desired outcome. Some of our methods include sketching, HTML mockups, and rapid prototyping. By using these methods together, we make sure that all ideas are brought to the table and the best ones are incorporated into your product.
We don’t stop until you and your customer are satisfied with the end result. That’s why iteration is core to the way we work. Through multiple iterations, we can incorporate your feedback and adapt to your changing business needs.

Develop
There is nothing without execution and results. We have experience creating products from scratch, revamping existing sites, and working within existing applications. This allows us to cater to your specific development needs. We also pride ourselves on making our client’s applications interactive, user friendly, and usable on any device.
Agile Development
In developing a web application, we understand that requirements can and will change. That’s why we believe in agile development which allows us to deliver working product code in days and weeks, not in months and years. Having scheduled releases early and often gives us the ability to constantly adapt to your feedback and needs.
Technologies used
Though we aren’t limited to these technologies, these are some of the core ones that we use for rapid development.
HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Ruby on Rails, Twitter Bootstrap, Backbone.js, Heroku, Postgresql

We surveyed the market, design and developed the product from end to end, and then launched it in 2011. Through this process, we talk to hundreds of potential users, iterated on our design after user testing and feedback, and did numerous marketing campaigns and events.
